Royal Military Police Corp (KPTD) Handover Ceremony

The Royal Military Police Corp (KPTD) celebrated the lease of 40 brand-new BMW R1250RT Superbikes for the Enforcement Motorcycle Squad on December 22nd, 2022, with a handover ceremony at the Military Corp Training Center (PULAPOT). The Chief of the Malaysian Army, General Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Zamrose bin Mohd Zain, officially opened the ceremony. The Chief General claims that the KPTD has utilised the Military Police Motorcycle service ever since it was founded.

The BMW R1250RT model is a motorcycle from the Sport Touring class that offers power, speed and comfort as well as safety features for long-distance riding. The new fleet of superbikes were accompanied with premium accessories, one of them being the Motorola WAVE PTX TLK100i walkie-talkies. They are being leased as part of an initiative to bolster and enhance the Malaysian Army’s level of alertness and capacity.

In order to provide our officers with clear, reliable, and secure communication, KPTD has upgraded its communication equipment to Motorola Wave PTX TLK100i model walkie-talkies—not only within Klang Valley, but also across the nation and even across borders to our neighbouring countries. The Motorola TLK100i has a long battery life that makes it ideal for lengthy rides. It is equipped with a battery that is intended to last 18 hours so that the user may concentrate more on the task at hand rather than worrying about recharging. Additionally, the GPS tracking function on the device can also be used to improve safety, monitor progress, find faster routes, change duties, and place team members where they are most needed.
